Printing firm turns to Allegro for smooth Progress upgrade

A mass printing firm had upgraded its aging SCO Unix-based Progress system to the latest, Windows-based client server version. The company had been using Hagen PMS (print management system) for 10 years and had counted on simple Windows 95 and 98 machines to run telnet to this ChUI application. When deciding to upgrade to the latest version, they discovered they needed new servers and PCs as well as a lot more PC and network expertise by their side.  

Allegro met with the firm to plan their upgrade. Allegro’s team stepped in to install the new Windows servers, and provide the deeper MIS support that the client needed for the upgrade but did not have in house. The client’s upgrade went very smoothly.
