Allegro's long-term client, a seller of specialty, porcelain figurines and gifts, needed to provide its customers with accurate, up-to-date product information via its website. The company turned to Allegro to integrate its Progress database with its new web storefront application called osCommerce. Allegro connected their Progress database with their new osCommerce website so that the product information is now pulled directly from the Progress database. Pricing and availability are now updated in real-time from their back-end Progress ERP application,ensuring their on-line customers get the latest, most up-to-date information at all times.
